Abstract Submission Guidelines
Eligibility
- Abstracts must be submitted by the presenting author or a nominated co-author.
- The presenting author or a nominated co-author must register for the conference if the abstract is accepted.
Presentation Types
- 5 minutes oral presentation.
Selected abstracts presenting recent or submitted academic publications will be chosen to feature in the NACE HotPubs session, including a panel discussion, on day 2. Abstracts selected for NACE HotPubs will be eligible for complimentary registration and a modest travel grant, where travel is required.
Abstract Categories
- We welcome abstracts on SCAR, antibiotic allergy, perioperative allergy and anaphylaxis
- NACE HotPubs session.
Abstract Format & Content
- Word limit: 250 words (excluding title, section headers and authors)
- Authors: List all authors with affiliations
- Publication status: (Published, submitted, in-preparation, not planned for publication).
- Structure:
- Abstracts should be structured under the following headings:
– Rationale
– Methods
– Results
– Conclusion
Ethics & Disclosures
- Research involving human participants must have appropriate ethics approval.
Review & Selection Process
- Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
- Selection will be based on scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the conference themes.
- The Committee’s decision is final
How to Submit
- Abstracts must be submitted online via the link/QR code to the REDCap survey.
- Submissions sent by email will not be accepted.
